There is just five rounds to secure points ahead of the one-day final, teams need to be at their best for a shot at this year’s crown.
Bega and Eden both found themselves coming off second best in two upset losses.
The clubs will be aiming to bounce back as more games get underway on Saturday.
The Bega-Angledale Bulls will take on the Pambula Bluedogs at the Pambula Sporting Complex from 1pm.
Despite a century from skipper Sam Hodder, the Bulls were narrowly ran down by the Pirates.
Meanwhile, the Bluedogs took a crushing loss to Tathra with the Blacka brothers Dan and Adam accounting for seven wickets between them last week.
The Bulls were fielding just four of last year’s grand final players, but are excited to see the return of some core players tomorrow.
The Pambula outfit will be looking to its key batsmen to get a strong total on the board.
Bega hoped to gain valuable experience for its younger players.
The in-form Tathra squad will play against the Merimbula Knights at Berrambool Oval, Merimbula, from 1pm.
Tathra took just 14 overs to outdo the Bluedogs’ score last Saturday, but the Knights claimed an upset over Eden in their match.
The two squads are evenly matched and the outcome could dictate who takes charge on the one-day ladder.
Tathra boasts a strong batting line-up with the likes of Adam Blacka, Ben O’Reilly and Chris Dwyer.
However, Merimbula is a strong team at home and also has the talented Dylan Jordan and skipper Adam Daley leading the charge.
