Bega Bypass noise a concern for neighbours
My house adjoins the Bega bypass and was built back in the early 1950s by my father when there was little hint that there would be a highway built there.
There are no noise suppression measures at this location provided by the RMS.
At times the noise level of trucks going by has me wondering if it is a truck or a helicopter flying low overhead, coming in to land at the Bega Hospital.
Unless you live in this vicinity I don't think your opinion is valid in determining whether the noise level is acceptable or not.
Have a go at trying to sleep with countless semi trailers roaring through your bedroom from about 10pm to 4am each night.

As far as I can see it's no contest. It was by far the best.
I looked at them all and the others seemed amateurish.
I don't like to lie and say it's the best simply because it is a local but it feels good when you can see that it truly is good and does the region proud.

Since when did McDonalds become babysitters?
It's not their fault that parents have failed and their children are too stupid, inconsiderate or lazy to use a bin.
Why not target pubs and bottleshops for their sloppy customers, supermarkets and anywhere else for their vile and disgusting cigarette butts / packaging or the chip packets or cans amongst the litter?
McDonalds provides bins and a lot of people use them.
I'm sure if some people could see past the bias then they'd see that there are more brand names amongst the litter... and it's ignorant, lazy people that litter, not McDonalds.
When I see someone litter or I pick up rubbish left by others and put it in a bin, I blame the tosser... not stupidly blame the company whose packaging it is
