Gates open from 9am Saturday with a $2 entry fee and the event will continue until Sunday afternoon.
The Bega Lions will be manning the barbecue and there will be demonstrations of many newly restored engines throughout the weekend.
2. Twisted in Bega
Two young emerging artists Melanie Zangger and Zoë Tindale will have an exhibition at Spiral Gallery, Twisted, opening Friday night at 5pm.
Twisted runs until October 15.
Both Ms Zangger and Ms Tindale work in a variety of media including sculpture, painting and drawing.
Both artists have featured in numerous exhibitions and intend to continue working as artists, finding inspiration and enjoyment developing and creating art.
3. Benn Gunn in Bermagui
Bermagui will welcome multi-award winning Australian country/rock artist Benn Gunn on Friday night.
Gunn’s unique sound of Australian country rock combined with his explosive performances has him blazing a new trail in the country music scene.
Gunn will perform at the Bermagui Country Club tonight from 8pm.
4. St John’s Anglican Church fete
It’s a lovely time of year for a fete and the grounds of St John’s Church in Bega will make the perfect venue for this spring fair.
The fete goes from 10am-2pm and will feature stalls with plants, cakes, books and second-hand clothing.
Heartsong Choir will perform and there will be a jumping castle for the children.
A barbecue will run throughout the day and there will be Devonshire tea available.
5. Climate lunch
Join Clean Energy for Eternity (CEFE) for a BYO picnic to discuss the climate change issue in Merimbula on Sunday.
CEFE event organiser Prue Kelly said it is for people around the region to meet, have a picnic and talk about what they can do to fight against climate change.
