From Monday, September 22, to Friday, September 26 – weather permitting - Tony Jolley from Southern Feral Pest Management will be out after dark looking for the destructive creatures.
He will be shooting them, not laying baits, and will be notifying police as to his activities.
Mr Jolley said in 2010 a similar week’s culling removed 18 foxes.
In July this year only two were spotted and shot over three nights and he said he is pleased to think the culling is having a lasting effect on fox numbers in the area.
