The club said plenty of terrific suggestions and help was offered by everyone.
Organisers thanked those who attended for their support and input.
This year, the committee hopes to pull together as a club and share the load.
There are a number of volunteers already at the club taking part and contrbuting to the running of meets.
Club president Daryl Moon led the charge on the day and a lot of plans were laid.
Moon said thanks to everyone who worked on the generator.
In the past, the club has suffered a couple of drop outs at race meetings, so the expertise was most welcome to ensure the “old girl” is back on track.
A backup plan has also been put into place.
The club’s next get together will be at the track on Saturday at 10am for a working bee and scrutineering from 10am.
The club will also run a barbecue and practice starts from 2pm.
Moon said it is a great opportunity to get your cars out and iron out all the frost from winter, test the track and get ready for racing.
The next committee meeting will be held at the Wolumla Hotel on October 8 at 7pm.
The first race of the season will be held at the track on October 18.
The first meet will be the big duel showdown.
It is a sponsored event with solid entries and racers will be looking to hit some of their best times.
The club will have a jumping castle for the kids and full canteen and amenities available.
