Mr Woseen, aged 75, died in a single vehicle accident on the Snowy Mountains Hwy on Wednesday afternoon.
The much-loved resident has been described by one of his nieces as “a beautiful man…a kind, gentle warm-hearted soul”.
“Harry was always there to help if he could,” Robyn Cullen said.
“He loved the garden club, church and family history.
“He also loved reading, he was very well read.
“And he was just a whiz at local history - he could tell you so much about the history of the area.”
Born and bred in the Bemboka Valley, Mr Woseen was very much a part of the community and the Bemboka way of life.
He and his late brother, John, ran the family property “Gunawah” on Brown Pearsons Rd, which has been owned by the Woseens for many generations.
Even though he was a bachelor, Ms Cullen said Mr Woseen was never alone.
“The whole family was always around for him.”
He had many passions in life, one of which was gardening.
As a founding member of the Bemboka Garden Club, established 32 years ago, Mr Woseen enjoyed nothing more than presenting his regular “Harry’s tips” at club meetings.
“He had lots of gardening knowledge, particularly on vegetables and fruit, which he would always share,” club president Annette Scanlon said.
“He was very keen on his lemon tree, which apparently produced great lemons.
“And he loved the supper,” she laughed.
“Harry always participated in the annual Bemboka Flower Show, up until a few years ago when ill health stopped him and he enjoyed all the outings we did.
“We were all very fond of him,” Ms Scanlon said.
Police officers from the Far South Coast Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances of Wednesday’s crash and will be preparing a report for the Coroner.
In a media statement Thursday, police said a vehicle travelling west along the Snowy Mountains Hwy crossed the northern side of the road, on to an embankment and struck a tree.
Witnesses attempted to assist the driver, Mr Woseen, until emergency services attended.
Ambulance paramedics rendered aid, however he died at the scene.
