“Due to the success of our annual major fundraising evening, the Foundation is giving more than ever before back to the community” Mumbulla Foundation president Olwen Morris said.
“Bega Cheese’s immense support of the Mumbulla Foundation has been instrumental to the Foundation’s success story.”
Executive Chairman of Bega Cheese Barry Irvin said, “We are delighted to be supporting the Mumbulla Foundation Gala Charity Dinner in 2014.
“Supporting the Foundation means that we are giving back to the many important and essential community groups and projects who make the Bega Valley community what it is today.”
This year’s Mumbulla Foundation Gala Charity Dinner, A Midsummer Night’s Dream Ball, will be held on October 25 at Oaklands Event Centre in Pambula.
Be prepared for a magical ball in an enchanted forest with a medieval feast and a night full of surprises.
The Mumbulla Foundation is the only foundation based in the Bega Valley Shire that supports the Bega Valley community.
Since 2000 it has given out over $670,000 in grants to many local organisations and initiatives from Cobargo to Eden.
Last year the Foundation awarded funding of over $72,000 in total to not-for-profit groups such as Fling Physical Theatre, Bega Valley Suicide Prevention Network and the South East Women’s and Children’s Services.
