Book Week 2014 ran August 16-22.
The Children's Book Council of Australia encourages schools and public libraries across the country spend a week celebrating books and Australian authors and illustrators.
Pupils came dressed as their favourite character from a book, with everything from cows to vampires spotted in the Bemboka PS schoolyard - and even some dressed up pets.
Alice in Wonderland was a popular inspiration this year, with Alice and the Queen of Hearts just a few of the book's characters to make an appearance.
The teachers got in on this wonderful celebration of children's literature and principal Jan Rogers made a fabulous fairy godmother.
Parents and carers were invited to enjoy the Book Week parade.
