Sapphire Coast Australian Football League’s (SCAFL) final five have been decided, but there is still a lot to play for, says Tathra coach Luke Taylor.

The main factor is if Bermagui loses, it could end up dropping a place to take on Bega in the elimination final.
The Bega Bombers will face the Eden Whalers in Eden for their end of season clash.
Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles will be at Lawrence Park, Tathra, chasing a win over the Narooma Lions to possibly secure themselves a second chance.
“Narooma will come down with a strong team to finish off their season on a high,” Taylor said.
“But we’ll be looking to hit our straps ahead of the finals.
“If we win and Bermi loses we could sneak in to third, there is a fair bit at stake,” he said.
The odds look about the same for the Sea Eagles, who Taylor is confident can pick up the points.
“Not much has changed during the week, but we will have Matt May in for his first game,” he said.
The under 10s will also be playing in the morning from 10am and the club urge everyone to stick around for the main game.
Taylor expected a few Canberra players to be in attendance for Eden, but had faith in Bega’s resilience.
“I think Bega can play four quarters and match it with anyone.
“They’re one of the in-form clubs at the moment and after seeing what they can do last week, I’d be definitely tipping Bega in that one,” he said.
The outcome of the game between the Bermagui Breakers and the Merimbula Diggers at Berrambool Oval, Merimbula, could be a determining factor in the finals line-up.
The Breakers have enjoyed a strong resurgence this year, but have a mixed record against the Merimbula club.
Taylor said it will come down to the “toss of a coin” to determine the winner, as both clubs had injury troubles.
Both teams have had some injuries during the season and I guess they’re hoping to have their teams back on.
“It is a fascinating game and it will be interesting to see how they go injury wise.”
If they show up at full-strength, Taylor said the Diggers might have enough gusto to outdo the Breakers.
“If they can front up with their best side on the park, I’d expect they could come away with the win.
“But it’s the toss of a coin as far as I am concerned,” he said.
The Tathra club will also hold its best and fairest vote count on Sunday at Lawrence Park.
Proceedings start at 11am and the club will have a barbecue and bar available.
The club is inviting everyone to head along and be part of the atmosphere as the votes are tallied.
