A BEGA family had a lucky escape on 12.50pm on Saturday when an unattended Subaru rolled down a driveway into the front of their Fairview St home.

The vehicle knocked down the front yard fence and ended its journey in Vicky Woffinden's bedroom.
"Forunately I wasn't in there, I was sitting in the lounge room with my family and we heard this really loud bang," Ms Woffinden said.
"We didn't know what it was, it just made the whole house shake."
Ms Woffinden's bed was destroyed.
Ms Woffinden said her neighbour had left his car in drive while he took shopping into his house and, while unattended, the car rolled down his driveway, across the road and into her home.
It took several hours to remove the car.
Meanwhile, in other police news, Bega Police have issued a 30-year-old female from Nethercote with a court attendance notice for exceed speed and drive while suspended.
Police stopped her vehicle about 11am Friday on Tathra Rd, Jellat Jellat, after it had overtaken the police vehicle.
Checks revealed her driver licence had been suspended.
She will appear in Bega Local Court.
POLICE and fire services were called to a structural fire at Thomsen Place, Tomakin, about 3.30pm Sunday.
A detached Colorbond garage was well alight.
It was subsequently extinguished by the Rural Fire Service with the shed and contents destroyed.
It is believed the fire may have been caused by an electrical appliance.
ABOUT 7am on Sunday, a Holden Commodore was travelling east on the Kings Hwy.
Approximately 8km from Nelligen, the driver aged 20 years old from Kambah, ACT, swerved to avoid a kangaroo and lost control.
The vehicle skidded on the road shoulder and continued down an embankment into trees.
The two occupants fortunately did not receive any injuries.
The car required towing with damage to the front, nearside and underside of the car.
BATEMANS Bay Police have issued a 19-year-old male with a penalty notice for possession of a knife.
Police were called to the Batemans Bay Hospital about 10.30am on Friday after a dispute in the car park.
The man was located by police and searched.
He was found to have a two hunting knives in his pocket. The knives were confiscated.
It is an offence to carry a knife in a public place without lawful reason.
The penalty is a $550 fine.
