Peter Davies of Narooma on board his boat All Torque with crew Benn Boulton from Charter Fish Narooma and mates Darren Clarke and Tony Lawson got a nice bluefin caught a couple of mile south of the southern sea mountain on Tuesday.
Bermagui commercial fisherman Jason Moyce took the day off on Tuesday to do what else but go fishing!
He posted on his Facebook: “Two 50kg blueys and let another five go and on the couch with a beer and it's not even 2pm. Not a bad effort fishing solo. If only pro fishing was this easy!!!!”
Meanwhile, the Narooma News fishing report featured the pending Australian 37kg record by Sammi Courts after she landed a 112.8kg SBT caught on Aquaholic on Monday around 10am. Congratulations to all on board.
Time to get out there, but remember catch and release is a good thing…
