Outgoing president Barbara Westmacott thanked all members for their enthusiasm during her term of office, which was highlighted by the Bega delegation visit to Littleton, Colorado, in 2013.
The delegation, consisting of 27 local people, travelled to America and experienced the continuing friendship established through previous visits both in Bega and Littleton.
“We have so much to offer the Americans who visit the Bega Valley Shire in 2016 and now is the time for all local members to start thinking about activities and places of interest that will make the 2016 Littleton delegation’s visit a most memorable event,” newly elected president Andrew Warby said.
Mr Warby will be supported by incoming vice-president Phillip Moffit, secretary Barbara Westmacott and treasurer Paul Healey in leading the club in fundraising and planning for 2016.
