The event was held at the Bermagui Little Lambs Preschool and all the young students were impressed.
Her mum, Janinka, who owns the Horse and Camel wine bar in Bermagui, was also there to lend moral support.
The morning of the event, Sam posted on her Facebook, “if you haven't donated yet please do, it is for a great cause and I'm so scared I can't even eat my brekky!”
Hairdresser Karlene Jubb, owner of Kayjay's Hair Salon, did the shave.
Sam has not completed a final tally as money still coming in and she also plans on selling the lovely hair that came off.
Already Sam has raised well over her $2000 goal, and hopes the final tally will be more like $2500.
