Thirty stalls selling everything from baby goods to camping gear did a solid and steady trade throughout the morning in the pre-school’s biggest fundraiser for the year.
Bega Pre-School fundraising committee spokeswoman Tanya Tomlinson said Saturday’s sale was a great success.
“It’s looking like another successful day,” she said.
“The money we are raising here is going towards improving the pre-school’s kitchen and for a shade sail on our grassed area.”
On behalf of the pre-school, Ms Tomlinson thanked Nel at Sapphire Spa and Massage for the raffle’s major prize – a $235 spa indulgence package won by Jack Hetherington.
She also thanked Butchers Block and Plevey’s Pharmancy for their raffle hamper donations, the Bega Show Society for use of the facilities and Woolworths “for a good discount”.
“This wouldn’t be the success it is without the support and donations from local businesses.”
Parents who were busy in their kitchens baking supplies for the cake stall also got a special mention.
