The concept for the fundraiser came out of a group of ideas thrown together by a small but motivated group of women who wanted to raise funds to support the family of six-year-old Finn Stone, who was seriously injured in a car accident last December.
Yoga, therapies, food, fun and friendship were the themes of the day.
Over $3000 was raised to support the Stone family.
Lush Out’s success would not have happened without the wonderful generosity of all the therapists and yoga instructors who worked so hard on the day, or the support of Mumbulla School, which donated the use of the whole school for the event.
The fundraising group also thanked Cafe Red, Candelo Bulk Wholefoods, Sweet Home Cobargo and members of the ESL (English as a second language) class from TAFE Illawarra Bega campus.
