Money from pink finger buns sold at Bakers Delight bakeries will be donated towards information resources for women who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
Owner of Bega Bakers Delight Rosey Muzzi said her store had been taking part in the Pink Bun fundraiser for 12 years, the whole time she has owned it.
She said that in 2013 the Bega store raised $1000 in donations.
“We want to double our target from last year,” Ms Muzzi said.
“It is a little community here, but the support that people give is just amazing.
“Come join in and show your support for a cause that touches people’s hearts.”
Bakery staff will be dressed up in pink aprons for the duration of the fundraiser.
All the proceeds from the pink finger buns sold will go to BCNA and for a donation customers can also write a message on a paper pink lady for someone whose life has been affected by breast cancer, and display it on the bakery’s walls.
