The avid angler is a proud member of the Bega Fishing Club and said she was happy to let her catch go as it was “a big breeder”.
“Not all fish need to be killed and wasted to count,” Constable said.
“I hope to raise awareness of catch and release.”
Constable said releasing the fish meant it wouldn’t count towards her club points, but would rather see fish stocks staying strong.
“I couldn't take this fish being a big breeder, so it doesn't count,” she said.
