THE district exhibits are among the Royal Easter Show’s most iconic displays, featuring creative and artistic installations assembled from outstanding quality grain, wool, fruit and vegetables.
As well as displaying fine Australian produce, the exhibits are works of art in their own right and a major attraction at the event.
Each display consists of more than 10,000 pieces of the best quality fresh produce from five agricultural districts throughout NSW and South East Queensland.
Each is a labour of love and represents months of planning, sourcing produce from local farmers, designing and piecing together the incredible artworks.
The five districts undergo five days of judging to compete for a prize that reflects the skills of professional designers, farmers and volunteers.
Judging of the competition takes place before the show begins, with close to 50 judges awarding points based on produce and display.
