There will also be displays of heritage cars, the VRA, SES, fire brigade and a police patrol car.
There will also be a mobile playgroup operating.
Local musicians Jake Whyman, Britney Meers and Josh O’Meara will entertain and the master of ceremonies for the day will be Bega Chamber of Commerce and Industry vice-president John Watkin.
COBARGO
AT COBARGO, the CWA will host the Australia Day activities at the School of Arts on Bermagui Rd from 11am when the Cobargo Scouts fire up the barbecue for a sausage sizzle.
The official ceremony will begin at noon.
This will include the announcement of the Cobargo and District Citizen of the Year and Junior Citizen of the Year and an Australia Day address from the shire’s Australia Day Ambassador Catriona Rowntree, who will travel to Cobargo with Mayor Bill Taylor after the Bega ceremony.

Everyone from the community is invited to attend.
BERMAGUI
THE Bermagui Seaside Fair Committee will use Australia Day this year to launch a new event called the “Umbrellas of Bermagui”.
Bermagui businesses have purchased 15 three-metre shade umbrellas and 15 very accomplished artists are decorating them with amazing artistic designs.
The committee plans to auction each umbrella at the Seaside Fair on March 8 to raise money for a skate park.
The Umbrellas of Bermagui will be launched on Australia Day with a display on the lawns in front of the Bermagui Country Club.
The committee is negotiating to get Ambassador Catriona Rowntree along for the launch.
MERIMBULA
CITIZEN of the Year Ryan Campbell is in for a very busy Australia Day because as soon as he receives his award in Bega he will travel to Merimbula’s Spencer Park to take up his role as Australia Day Ambassador there.
