The Kokoro Kai Goju Australia co-founder Sensei Robert Graham said he was excited to see another dojo open in the Bega Valley.
Sensei Graham runs the Candelo dojo and is pleased to expand operations into Bega.
Classes will start at the Bega Valley Public School hall at 21 Auckland St, Bega, on January 31.
The Bega dojo will be open to mighty mite, junior, senior and general students.
Classes will be held in Bega on Monday and Friday.
Regular Candelo classes will begin on February 12 at the Candelo Showground hall.
This year, both dojos will be hoping to reflect the success of the Candelo Kokoro Kai Goju in 2013.
Last year’s highlights included Candelo representatives winning medals at national competitions and Chris Alcock and Jacob Francis being picked for the NSW State Team.
To cap off a successful 2013, more than 85 people attended the dojo’s end-of-year presentation in December (BDN, 17/12/13).
