Woolworths lodged a second DA in the lead-up to Christmas and the Bega Valley Shire Council is calling for new public submissions (click here for related story).
The DA is currently on exhibition at the council's Bega offices and on the BVSC website.
Public submissions have to be received by January 22 at the latest.
The beauty of the site was apparent to the large crowd, many of the older people sharing memories of the place and everyone marvelling at the view.
Local band Sophisticated Boom Boom (and friends) were on hand to perform Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi.
