The Brogo singer/guitarist performed at the Susan Harris Hall at Mumbulla School in June (BDN, 10/5).
Champagne’s set included his cover version of Don McLean’s Vincent.
Lee Chittick filmed the performance and Champagne, 24, has now released the video on YouTube.
Champagne hinted that Vincent may appear on his next album The Gypsy Moon (Volume 2).
“I’ve been playing this song for years now and am half thinking of finally recording a version to be part of The Gypsy Moon – Volume 2… what do you all think,” Champagne wrote on Facebook.
On November 22, Champagne will set out on his summer tour to promote The Gypsy Moon (Volume 1).
Champagne released the album earlier this year and has been well received.
The Gypsy Moon (Volume 1) reached fourth position on the Australian Independent Music Charts in June (BDN, 7/6).
Champagne will perform at NSW, Queensland, the ACT, Tasmania and Victoria during his tour, which will finish in January.
