THIS week, Bega Cheese announced its support for the Mumbulla Foundation and committed to support the foundation’s major annual fundraising dinner as the principal partner from 2013-2015.
“We feel extremely grateful to have the very generous support of Bega Cheese behind our gala charity dinner,” Mumbulla Foundation president Olwen Morris said.
The theme for this year’s gala dinner, to be held on October 18, will be “A Carmen Fiesta”.
Expect a Spanish night of passion with fiery flamenco, blazing guitars, sangria and tapas!
“The dinner’s success has meant we have been able to increase our grants donated to communities and projects in the Bega Valley substantially from $50,000 in 2010 to $70,000 in 2012,” Ms Morris said.
Executive chairman of Bega Cheese Barry Irvin said, “We are delighted to be supporting the Mumbulla Foundation gala charity dinner once again.
“Backing the Mumbulla Foundation’s major annual fundraiser means we are supporting the lifeblood of the Bega Valley community and the many needy and inspiring community groups and projects who receive support from the foundation.”
The foundation’s gala dinner is recognised as a major cultural night of the year and will be held on October 18 from 6:30pm at the Oaklands Event Centre.
