Hours of training, grooming and preparation go in to presenting horses for the show ring and there will be a strong line-up of local horses in all equestrian events.
These riders compete very successfully at Royal Shows in Canberra and Sydney as well as other major horse events around the state.
Patrons will see some of the best equestrians from around ACT and NSW, all competing at Bega Show.
Dressage is very popular and there will be some very nice test ridden on Sunday.
There are also some beautiful hacks in our area and we will have a chance to see these lovely horses over the weekend.
Junior equestrians are also very talented and you will see them jumping, hacking and having fun in the sporting arena.
The Bega AP&H appreciates the help it gets to put on this exhibition each year from Jump Club, Pony Club, Dressage Club and all the good folk who just turn up every year to help - thanks go to all who help make this event so successful.
Chief ring steward Helen Slater is looking forward to presenting a high quality exhibition of horse events over the three days.
