Apart from a fresh coat of paint and some improvements to restore it to a more traditional heritage look, you will see some changes to the overall layout of the pavilion.
The wool has moved into the annexe on the western side and will incorporate a display of old time shearing equipment.
The South Coast Producers Association (SCPA) has come on board this year with a new section, local food utilisation, where exhibitors will display menus and recipes using foods derived only from our local area.
The oyster and cheese sections introduced in 2012 were highly successful and we hope to again see good entries in both these sections – why not come along and watch the judging of these sections next door to the art and photography pavilion from 11am onwards on Saturday morning.
There will be a special photography competition/display to celebrate 140 years of the Bega Show and Back to Front Garden Centre will again transform the foyer with a spectacular garden/floral display.
And as always, there will be the traditional cooking, handcraft, needlecraft and flower sections and the ever popular scarecrow competition.
For all the mums visiting the show, don’t forget there is a baby change area located at the northern end of the annexe for your convenience.
So make the pavilion your first stop when visiting this year’s Bega Show.
