THE Bega Chamber of Commerce is presenting a series of workshops over the next couple of months, starting with the Small Business Club meeting on February 22.
The subject of the meeting will be based on the legal complications of conducting an online business.
“So many people are now changing to, or even including online selling as part of their business,” Bega Chamber of Commerce president Mal Barnes said.
“And many may not be aware of the legalities involved.
“In conjunction with the Bega Valley Small Business Club, the Chamber is presenting the free seminar at the Heritage Centre on February 22.”
Lynnette Kearney, coordinator of the Bega Valley Small Business Club said the issue was of such importance, the seminar will also be conducted in Merimbula on February 21.
Local lawyers Peter Tierney Lawyers will be the presenters and will discuss the issues surrounding online businesses.
Registration for the free seminar is essential. If you wish to attend this event, please email southcoast@illawarraitec.com.au, or call 4423 3417. Alternatively, call Mal Barnes on 0459 440 472.
