The Fashions on the Field again proved popular with the punters at the Bega Cup at Sapphire Coast Turf Club.

Around 40 people – mainly women – participated in the Fashions on the Field with five categories on offer.

The Russells enjoyed success in two categories, including the best dressed couple.

Their prize is a holiday in Ulladulla.

Earlier in the day, Rebecca was judged the best among the 10 entrants in the under 35s category and her prize was a holiday in Sydney.

“We’ve got some holidays to plan,” Rebecca said.

“It’s been a great day.”

Rebecca said they were very pleased to be named best dressed couple.

“We’re excited to win,” she said.

Leon said it had been a successful day, but joked that he “just needs to get our betting right now”.

Narooma’s Tash Tiedt was named best dressed lady over 35 and Garry Etcell won the men’s equivalent.

Ten children participated in the best dressed children category.
