SAPPHIRE Coast Kennel Club and Bega Valley Kennel Club members were well represented in the judging of general specials at the Far South East Championship shows in Bemboka last month.

General specials is the judging of the best of each group in their age classes.

The culmination of the day is the best dog in the show.

Jan Hyde's (Nethercote) doberman 'Nethercote Little Gem' was best puppy in the utility group, Linda Quinto’s (Cobargo) border collie, 'Quinora Trulymadlydeeply' was the best baby in the working dog group, Barbara Helland's (Bega) dalmation 'Gentry Diamonds N Stars' was best minor puppy in the non-sporting group, Margaret Davies’ (Candelo) finnish lapphund 'Setara Oskari' was best intermediate in working dog group, Sian Hine's (Narooma) Hungarian Vizsla Ch Tanashka Magus Taita was best intermediate in the gundog group and went on to win best intermediate in the show.

Marie Walter's (Lochiel) beagle Andsim Oliver Twist was best puppy in the hound group each day, runner-up in hound group on the Sunday and best puppy in show on Sunday.
