THE death has occurred of Dennis Covington of Casuarina, Bega, and formerly of Tarraganda, in the Bega District Hospital on Wednesday, February 9, aged 85 years.

Mr Covington was predeceased by his wife, June in 1975 and is survived by family, Paul and Jackie Covington (Canberra), Wayne and Anna Covington (Perth), Trish and Les Hayes (Tarraganda), Denis and Rick Steele (Perth), 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The funeral for Mr Covington was held in St Patrick's Catholic Church, Bega on Monday, February 14, and interment followed in the Field of Mars Cemetery, Ryde.
Funeral arrangements were by John R Whyman Funeral Services, Bega and Pambula.
MRS Yvonne Crane of Max Slater Drive, Bega, died in the Canberra Hospital on Tuesday, February 15, aged 62 years.
Mrs Crane is survived by husband, Jim and family Lynette and Brian Smith (Brogo), Robert and partner Krystle Fowler (Bermagui), brother, John Douglas (England), and sister, Margaret Saunders (France).
The funeral for Mrs Crane will be held in St John's Anglican Church, Bega at 11.00am, Monday, February 21, and interment will follow in the Bega Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are by John R Whyman Funeral Services, Bega and Pambula.
