Earlier this year, the Tathra Uniting Church held a Covenanting Service, where Pastor Ozzie Cruse from the Eden Aboriginal Church came to Tathra Uniting Church when a great service was held.
Since then some of the members of the Tathra Church have gone to Eden each month to join in their service and share a lunch with them.
This has built up a close friendship with friends from Eden, so when the Kids Club from Tathra decided to have a camp it was only natural that we would invite the children from Eden.
Everyone had a wonderful time with 19 from Eden coming to the camp at Wamberi.

Barbara and Peter joined family members on Saturday night to sample the delights of a dinner prepared by SCPA members, Carole Broadhead and Marg Taylor.
All local products were used to create a dinner both Barbara and Peter will not forget.
The raffle had been conducted over the past three months and the proceeds in the vicinity of $1,000 will go towards funding a local student's participation in the next Littleton Exchange to America in August 2003.
Products featured in the dinner were supplied by Phoenix Flower Farm, Nori Heaven Sushi, Fruit Ballad Winery, Brianderry Farm, Tathra Seafoods, Brown Mountain Flora, Mundui Farm, Grevillea Winery, Molly Morgan's Mustards, Disaster Bay Chillies and Eniminga Orchard.
Dishes enjoyed were sushi, caramel garlic tarts served with Fruit Ballad wine, Tathra oysters (natural or in a cream sauce served with Brown Mountain Pepper), fish cocktail served with pickled oranges, clear soup or a double soup served with Grevillea Wine, pesto and bacon baked rabbit, fish in taro leaves with a Thai sauce served with jacket potatoes, baked canna roots and spicy tomato salad.
The main course was followed by a citrus sorbet.
Sweets were a choice of Brianderry lemon meringue pie, Roulade with fresh berries served with Fruit Ballad dessert wine.
The dinner concluded with a fruit platter consisting of a variety of tropical fruit grown at "Eniminga", Bermagui, Bega Cheese, Bega Cheese Fudge and chocolate lemon peel infused with chillies served with coffee.
The table centre-piece was Australian native flowers supplied by Jeanette Sinclaire and arranged by Carole Broadhead.
An added surprise was transport to and from the mystery dinner location in a vintage car, provided by president of the Littleton Exchange Program Phil McDonald.
