The Bombala Bak-ery’s Rebecca Kidd said the doughnuts in the street were very successful raising over $100.
Carol Dejong from the RSL Club was also very pleased with the Club’s Biggest Morning Tea with the proceeds adding up to $368.70.
She said that Bombala residents not only came to the morning tea but also brought along sandwiches and slices for the event.
The Currawarna Aged Hostel’s Biggest Morning Tea proceeds were counted at the RSL and they amounted to $187.45.
The morning teas at Bombala and Delgate hospitals were cheerful events hosted by staff and residents.
A wonderful display of tea pots, tea cosies and tea cups featured at both venues which generated much discussion and many memories.
Donations are still being accepted with final tallies expected at the end of the week.
However, over $400 was collected on Thursday at Delegate Hospital and approximately $150 at Bombala Hospital on Friday.
